Independent Tool Notice: TwinVox is an independent application developed to provide AI voice translation. TwinVox is not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with WhatsApp Inc. or Meta Platforms, Inc.
1. Overview
Welcome to TwinVox ("we", "our", or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal data and privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, processed, and protected when using the TwinVox mobile application and associated backend services.
2. Data We Collect & Purpose
- Account Information: Name, email address, and encrypted password hash used exclusively for account authentication and subscription management.
- Audio & Voice Data: If you use voice translation or voice cloning features, temporary audio samples are recorded strictly with your microphone permission to synthesize translations. Audio samples are processed ephemerally and are not used to train public models.
- Encrypted Chat Information: When you connect your WhatsApp messaging session via local QR pairing, messages are processed in-memory for instant translation. If Zero-Data Retention mode is toggled on in settings, messages are never written to disk.
3. How We Protect Your Data
- All database storage on our servers is protected with military-grade AES-256-GCM encryption with unique initialization vectors.
- Data in transit is encrypted using standard Transport Layer Security (TLS).
- Users can enable Auto-Delete Audio to purge audio files automatically within 24 hours.
4. Third-Party Services
We process translations using secure enterprise AI APIs (OpenAI / MiniMax). We do NOT sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers. No advertising or tracking SDKs (IDFA) are embedded in the TwinVox app.
5. Account Deletion & Data Rights (Guideline 5.1.1(v))
You have the full right to delete your account at any time. You can initiate permanent account deletion directly within the TwinVox mobile app by navigating to Settings > Delete Account. When you confirm deletion:
- Your account credentials, name, and email are permanently deleted from our database.
- All chat settings, contacts, voice cloning samples, and translation history are deleted immediately.
- Your WhatsApp session connection is terminated and cleared.
